Group CEO - Oxygen Finance
Mark Hoffman became CEO of Oxygen Finance Group in January 2013, having previously been Chairman of Oxygen Finance Americas. Mark is the former Sybase co-founder and Chief Executive Officer and Commerce One founder and CEO. He has deep experience in building up companies from early stage into large organizations and has an in-depth knowledge of global markets to build and develop a sustainable business. Commerce One was an early pioneer in the B2B E-Procurement and Sourcing market.
Chief Finance Officer
Mike has worked as a CFO in small and medium size companies, both quoted and private for 20 years. In 2003, he jointly led a management buyout of ISA Group Limited (“ISA”), which successfully exited in 2007. In his previous positions, he was also responsible for the IT and HR functions. Mike was the executive sponsor of a prototype of the Oxygen model, incubated within ISA. Mike joined the Oxygen team in January 2008. Mike is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Rick Abbott had a successful 25 year career in investment banking as a financial sector industry specialist.Since 2002 he has focused on creating value from his own investments in the sector and continues to be on the boards of many different financial companies particularly financial technology platforms.
Frank brings with him over 35 years' experience in the London insurance, oil, derivative and foreign exchange markets. Previous roles include director and managing director positions at several companies including London Investment Trust, Baring Securities, Deutsche Morgan Grenfell and Amerex Petroleum. He is currently a non-executive director at London Capital Group Plc, having been CEO until his recent retirement from this role.
Richard has over 25 years’ experience in the global financial buyout market and in raising debt and equity financing for privately held companies. His previous roles include senior executive positions at leading European financial institutions, including Alcentra Limited, Intermediate Capital Group and Deutsche Bank. He is currently a Managing Director of Dean Street Advisors and sits on the Supervisory Board of Wiltshire Capital, as well as being a Non-Executive Director of Lotus Energy Ltd.
John was appointed a director of Oxygen Finance in 2010. He has 25 years experience in equity capital markets in the City including 17 years at Salomon Smith Barney, subsequently Citigroup. His last role was MD, Head of Equity Sales to the EMEA Region. He left Citigroup in 2004 to start a European equities business for FBR Capital Markets, an investment bank based in Washington DC. Before his career in financial services John was a Captain in the Royal Marines where he had roles as a troop commander and helicopter pilot.
John joined Oxygen Finance Limited as a Non-Executive Director in April 2010. He was previously co-founder and Chairman of Tender Exchange Rate Indemnity (TERI), a contingent exchange rate insurance underwriting business that was sold to NCM in 2000, where he remained for the following seven years. Prior to that he was founder and Chairman of Tillotson Commodities, a futures fund management business, which was sold in 1983.
